AdMath Guide: how to set up and use AdMath

This guide shows you how to install AdMath, connect Google Ads, and read each screen. It takes about five minutes. AdMath is read-only, so it never changes your Google Ads account.

Before you start

Step 1: Install AdMath

  1. In WordPress, go to Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin.
  2. Choose the AdMath file we sent you and click Install Now.
  3. Click Activate. AdMath opens its setup screen.

Do not have the file yet? Ask for early access. Later versions appear under Dashboard → Updates, like any other plugin.

Step 2: Sign in with Google

  1. Go to AdMath → Settings.
  2. Click Sign in with Google.
  3. Choose the Google account that can open your Google Ads account.
  4. Click Allow. AdMath asks only to read your Google Ads data.

You do not need a Google Cloud account, an API key or any codes.

Step 3: Choose your ads account

Back in AdMath → Settings, pick the Google Ads account you want AdMath to read. If you manage several accounts, choose the one for this website. You can change it later in Settings.

What each screen shows

Overview

Your main number at the top: what you spent ÷ how many conversions you got = your cost per conversion, compared with the previous period. Below it you see findings (what needs attention), a daily spend chart and your top campaigns.

Campaigns

Every campaign with its cost, clicks, conversions and cost per conversion. Click a column heading to sort. Campaigns that spend but bring no conversions are easy to spot.

Search terms

The real searches that triggered your ads. Use the wasted filter to show terms that got clicks and cost money but never converted. Tick the ones that do not fit your business and copy them as negative keywords (exact, phrase or broad), then paste them into Google Ads.

Landing pages

The pages on your website that receive ad clicks, and how well each one converts. Pages with clicks but no conversions can be filtered, and each page has an Edit link that opens it in the WordPress editor.

What the findings mean

Findings are simple rules based on your data. They are a starting point for your own decision, not a promise of results.

Disconnect

Go to AdMath → Settings and click Disconnect. This revokes AdMath’s access to your Google account and deletes the saved sign-in. Do this before you delete the plugin. You can also remove access at myaccount.google.com/permissions.

Troubleshooting

Google says “Google hasn’t verified this app”

During early access, Google shows this warning. Click Advanced, then Continue. The warning will go away when Google finishes verifying AdMath.

“Sign in with Google” again after a few days

During early access, Google signs you out of AdMath every 7 days. Open AdMath → Settings and sign in again. Your settings stay.

I do not see my ads account

Make sure you signed in with the Google account that has access to that Google Ads account. If not, click Disconnect and sign in again with the right one.

The numbers look a little old

AdMath keeps each report for about 15 minutes to stay fast. Wait a little and reload.
